Default Rechargeable security pager

I have the battery operated pager. I like the size but it eats up batteries very fast. I am taking a trip in May and like having the pager in the hotel room with me in case I did not hear the alarm siren. Does anyone have the recargeable unit, if so, how do you like it and how long does the battery last ?? I am looking for reliable all night service. Thanks in advance for all replies

I sold my battery one and bought the rechargeable. It last a long time and if you plug it in (like in a hotel) it will charge while it is armed.
I like it a lot better as I too was spending a LOT on batteries.

The battery in the rechargeable one last a very long time plus you can keep it plugged in and charging while its on.

I had the non-rechargeable one on my previous bike and found that if I put the battery in upside down when I was not using it it lasted a lot longer. Apparently there is some draw on the battery even when it is turned off. Battery life is a common complaint with those but putting the battery in upside down (or taking it out) seem to help with mine.
