Same here, went with the 6.5" clearview. no more blur vision at highway speeds.

+ 1 more for Fastarie. I have bought a couple of them. Good stuff, and good price.

For the thread...FWIW, the Fastaire windshield was like 32 dollars....
+1 the 6"or 6.5" shield made a BIG difference and didn't cost an arm, or a leg...

I had a 9" Fastaire on my Electraglide, and liked it. Good product for the price IMO. I bought an 8" Clearview Recurve last year, and like it much better then the 9" Fastaire.

Thicker, polishable, and as good airflow with better visibality due to the 1" lower shield, which doesn't seem like a lot, but was for me.

I am 6' Tall. I run a stock Road Glide Seat on my Electraglide which sits me a little lower than the Electraglide seat.

You can check the Clearview site for blems they sell for a discount and are in stock. I know sometimes it can take quite a few weeks to get a shield from them, but I think it is woth the wait.

There is an aesthetic limit on the height of the windshields on streetglides in general.

The taller the shield, the more ridiculous it looks. I tried taller HD shields with no real added benefit and when you stand back and look at the bike it is laughable.

Whatever you purchase, make sure it is less that 7 inches. I have a Klock Werks and it
"cleans" the air. It doesn't completely rid the buffeting aspect but somewhat improves it.
