Has anyone purchased a 6" wind deflector? The bike comes with a 4 1/2" stock wind deflector but that pushes too much wind into my face. Is there much or any difference b/w the 6" and 4 1/2" wind deflector?
I purchased a 9 1/2" windshield which works good for keeping the wind off of my face but because of my height (5'-9") I end up looking halfway into the windshield and halfway on to the street which is kinda weird. I would be nice if Harley made something an inch or two lower. Any suggestions?
I'm 5'9" and I got an 8" from american-thunder on ebay (sinstatecycle). Works great for me. Got rid of alot of the turbulence but I still get plenty of wind in my face.
These guys have great products and prices. I use their 9.5 inch on my SG. I'm also 5'9", but it doesn't really bother me.
5-7" here but 28" inseam so I sit a little higher in the saddle than most 5'7" guys. I have this same windshield but in 6.5 " Get a little wind at the very top of my helmet and like the height.
Bought a chrome 10" from J&P Cycles. I think I paid $42 for it. The tech guy said the wind screen should be the same hight as your nose. I love the new wind screen.
