Fork change
Does anybody know what the cheapest, easiest way to get rid of the "idiot designed" cartridge type front fork on a 04 RG would be. Would like to be able to change fork oil without having to through a big ritual HD service process. Any suggestions? Thanks
PM Maineultraclassic (might be lower case "M"); he changed the parts to the same as in the right fork IIRC.
Alternatively, PM Dawg and get the parts list for the '06 and newer catridgeless forks.
Also, PM PhilM as I believe he changed the parts in his lower sliders for a performance improvement.
Good luck with your project.
