I would also suggest contacting Jamie at Fuel Moto~ Let him know your setup and they will have a map already installed in whichever product you go with~ You will also get the best possible price there~

Another thing to concider... The Power Commanders are a piggy back type system~ They connect in line with your stock ECM~ Which means added cables and proper placement~ Not that big a deal, but can be pain the the **** for some folks~
The ThunderMax actually replaces your stock ECM~ So no extra cables to hide and it fits right in place of the stock one~ You can get it with the Auto Tune feature, also~ Fuel Moto will place a 'base' map in there and then the auto tune feature will monitor your riding style and calibrate the base map accordingly~

I actually run both products... the ThunderMax w/auto tune in my Night Train.. and the PCIII in my EG~ The ThunderMax... I just let do it's thing and it runs the Train beautifully~ I just took the 2-1 Thunderheader off the EG and went back to true duals~ Wasn't but two minutes to find the map in thePC's database to fit my new setup~

Can't go wrong either way... it's really boils down to a matter of preference~

Thumbs up Always go with the best Thundermax

I would go with the T-max, I have a 06 FHLXI and I have tried them all PC, Super tuner, TC-Terminal Volocity and changed them all do to problems and I'll explain them.
First understand I ride my bike hard and take very long rides every year and this is my Second HD in 7 years.
1st it was a HD race tuner I had put on in 06 before I took delivery of the bike I had a 103 SE motor put on with all the extras, all by the dealer. After my first trip and getting my a** handed to me by the guys I ride with and only getting about 158 miles to a tank of gas, I went back to the drawing board and replaced the cam, throttle body and intake, bigger AC and put a baker DD6 tanny on the bike, so I call the dealer and out of 6 dealers in my area no one wanted to tune it so i called the dealer I purchased the bike from and they wanted $795.00 to dyno and tune the bike so I took it off.
I didn't want to go back to the PC's because of the trouble I had with them on my first HD so I went with a Terminal Velocity after a month I took it off and returned it.

2. 1st bike 01 RKC - (PC's systems) the first PC I put on just stop working after about 1.5 years. 2nd one I purchased, nothing but problems and I got real tired on paying for Dyno.

I purchased a close loop PC for my 06 and it was off to the dyno everytime something wasn't working properly. I fix one problem and another proplem would pop up. 2007 I started researching fuel management systems and found T-Max from zippers and after about 6 months talking to Zippers and other people I met in my travels I purchased the T-Max this would turn out to be the best investment I ever made they put the map in it before shipping it to me and it took me about and hour to install it. The bike run great and all I have to do is ride, it will adjust to the way I ride if I'm racing over at the track on Wednesday nights for fun or traveling to Daytona Florida from Missouri and getting 180 miles to a tank of gas riding 80mph, it has made me a believer in the T-Max. NO MORE DYNOS No more looking for a map if I make any changes to the bike I just connect my lap top to the T-Max ECU and down load all my stat and E-mail them to Zippers and they will do the map for me and e-mail it back and I download it onto the bike or I can do the map myself. this T-Max is the greatest system out there and it replaces your stock ECU.
Now the cost is a little less than $1000.00 but the support you get with it is worth much more, these guy will talk you through any problem you may think you have.
I met up with Zippers team down in Daytona this month for bikeweek and had them to check the map in my bike and I was suprised at some of the thing this device can do, it told them my riding style and they recommended I change some small thing and made some more adjustment for free.
I know I'm just going on and on about T-Max but I can really go on for days. If you want more testimonial you can Email me and we can talk more.

Last I looked.. Fuel Moto does sell the TTS (master tune), Thundermax Zippers and Power Commanders 3 and 5...oh yeah something called bazzaz Z-FI fuel injection module.

I would just call Fuel Moto and get it from them regardless.. outstanding customer service
and awesome prices.

dl you will not be upset with the PCIII, I have an '08 EGC with rineharts and a ness big sucker, putting down 74hp and running a tad rich. With the right dyno set up and a little tweaking you'll love it.

Now I just can't wait for my new jugs that will be here next week.

PC V is just the next generation power commander. It is smaller than the PC III and has the ability to run more add ons, such as the auto tune. DynoJet doesn't currently have any "canned" maps for bikes other than '09's, so if Jamie has made some and gotten them to work, go for it. The peole that are running PC III's probably just picked them up before the V's came out.
