Making MP3 cd's NOT
I have been trying to make mp3 cd's for my 09 ultra and so far nothing will play on it but it will play on my lap top. I have the MP3 maker 14 deluxe and i just burned a dvd with mp3 files. Now i am afraid to try that.. I just played the dvd music cd on the lap top and it sounds great. Can some one help me out here.

You cannot just drag the songs to copy them. I use Media Player. If you burn them (MP3 format) using Media Player and you to go into BURN options (Add a list of all burned fileto the disc in this format) and set it to M3U. The default is WPL and will not work.

Try making a data disc using a blank high quality CD. Use a slower write speed, not the fastest. Let the software burn the disc for you. Get away from DVD discs and write software. Your PC is able to read probably every disc under the sun, your bike isn't.

Ive made mp3 CDs for my SG that work fine. One has 98 songs on a standard 80 minute CD-R. Jodix.com has a free mp3 converter download that you can use to convert your music to the mp3 format. Once your have the music you want in a folder just burn it to a CD. If your have Roxio CD Creator on your computer it is easy. Roxio has a feature that will convert your music CDs to mp3 format. I like using mp3 cd better than an IPOD because I can use my hand controls to make changes.

So far I've only burned a couple CDs. I'm using Nero and get about 25 songs on a CD. How are you getting 98 songs on a single 700meg CD?
I've also got an XM receiver, which works fairly well through the aux input, and a 2Gig MP3 player. I burned the CDs primarily because I wanted to use the CD player at least a few times. But for me I can get a lot more tunes on the MP3 player. I also like XM, plus I can get so many more channels using it.

On your harley which cost a few pennies
don't listen to a lossless format with mp3
u loose top and bottom end which with music
like The Pink Floyd and King Crimson you will loose
much of the sound
compression makes music bland
