Has anyone here gone from HogTunes to ARC and why? If not or none, which do you have and would you change? I am going to be getting my inner painted on my EGC shortly and will be putting placeing an order for 1 of these great systems just prior to doing so. I will be getting the amp as well. For now I am only looking for 2 speakers up front and then maybe upgrade to pods in back.
I went with the ARC amp and speakers from Fircap. I'll tell ya it is a great leap from the stock stuff. I'm very happy with the setup. I have the stock radio, ARC amp and 2 front speaker. Firecap will take care of you from info to instruction he's a standup guy.
I originally went with the 5.25" ARC up front with the 125.2 ARC amp. I since upgraded to the 6.5" up front, and moved the 5.25" to the rears. Love this set up. Took me a while to tune in the amp, but now I can go full power on the radio with no distortion. Crystal clear sound, no distortion, sounds awesome. If you are in Indiana, you can come listen to it if you like.
Went with the Arc 125.2 mini and FD5025 Speakers from Firecap. Very happy with setup, had a few install questions that Firecap answered quickly. Stellar customer service.
Install was a breeze, as much plug and play possible, with mods by Firecap.I hadn't even taken the fairing off my 08 RG. I just took my time with the install.
Hardest part was running the power cable back to the battery.
If you can hold off untill next week for my review I found a High quality Class D amp that will fit on top the radio nicely for $150.

That's a tasty find. I'd like to hear how it sounds. A decent sub-$200 amp would be very welcome!
Went with Arc and Firecap mainly because of all the positive reviews. Wayne (Firecap) was there for me when I had a question during install and was a pleasure to deal with thru purchase and install. As far as the system I am very pleased, great upgrade from stock.
I went with Firecap501 setup with 6.5" speakers and amp. It will definitely rock your bike. He has always been available on the phone anytime I called with a question or needed setup advise. His customer service will not be beat!!! Firecap501 has it all, Great Product, Price and the best customer service you will ever get.
