Default Tall rider

Has nyone out there set up a Road King for a tall rider? I want to move into a touring bike from my current Harley Softail Deuce. I'm 6'6" and feel cramped on a standard bike. How does the "tallboy" seat work out, are forward foot controls available and what handle bar suggestions do other Forum users have?
Thanks

I am 6'4" & have a street glide.

The stock floorboards don't fit me well. Too cramped. I use my Highway pegs & they are the ultimate in comfort. The little bit of time I spend on boards is to shift, or stop & go traffic. I suspect a different seat would not set me back enough to be comfy with the boards.

There is a floorboard extension kit for taller riders from MoCo.

360 adjustable highway pegs are going to essential for you.

I might have to check out the tallboy too.

I'm 6'4" and I have to kick my left knee and leg out to get on top of the shifter peg for down shifting.
In city driving it seems like I do alot of leg shuffling working the brakes and shifter.
It just seems like I need to do a btter job of setting the bike up to fit me.

So I am looking into seat & highway peg choices also.

most of the premium seat makers will make a seat for you that will move you back further...that with extended reach shifter/brake and extended(forward) boards will make your ride more enjoyable

You guys are both taller than me, I'm 6.1-1/2 and I also found my RKC cramp, got long legs. I just put the Sundower Solo Seat on and put about fifty miles on it. I'm sitting a little taller and seat is more comfortable that the Stock 2 up. I also brought a Comfort Max Seat Gel Pad, with sheepskin top, and I sat on it for a minute to see how much of a lift I would get and I felt like I got aleast another 1" higher on top of the 1" I gain from the solo seat. Would be nice to have some forward shift controls and foot pad extensions that would be perfect.

My friend is 5 foot 17 and loves his tallboy seat on the RG.

I'm 6' 5" and I'm comfortable on my 94 Ultra. I do however prefer the highway pegs.

I am 6'1 and I rode the sundowner and it definetly puts me closer to the front due to the thick back cushion, Mustang seat puts me further away.

6'3" and this is the perfect combo for me, seat, backrest, cruiseboards. Stretch out in comfort!

I put mini apes on my Road Glide, that really helped in comfort for me, raised my arms to a comfortable riding level. You can see them in my gallery
