Default LED, AMP conflict...

I recently installed the Street Magic LED turn lights, front and rear. When I used the Street Magic LE and Triple play unit, I was getting a loud crack thru the speakers after I shut down the bike. I called Custom Dynamics (Excellent customer service-Todd) and their response back from Street Magic was to hot wire the LE directly to the battery. Since I had a Hawg Wired amp, the electrical excess during shut down was causing the noise. Since it was suppose to be plug-n-play, I then told them I would like to try the Badlands run/turn/brake equalizer. That solved the problem of the noise, however, after the HD alarm comes on (2 chirps) the LED screen on the radio would light up and then go off. I can live with that. So this is an FYI for those wishing to run LEDs on their bike that have an amp; use the Badlands equalizer. BTW, the Street Magic LEDS are great!!!

Thanks for the excellent FYI!

Bandlands are the best! I bought the CD LED turn signals for front and rear like you and used the Badlands Illuminator/Load Equalizer to run them without complaints or errors!

Ride safe, Mike
