Answered: Have it and like it but... the jury is still out. First bike with it and I'm not 100% convinced yet. Love it in the cage so I hope to feel the same way about it on the bike but I don't ride the bike in snow & ice! Only have 600 miles on my 09 Ultra so far.
Ordered my '09 without it. Didn't want it. I'm not going to knock it ,, it seem's it has worked very well for other's. If I put alot of mile's on a bike I'd want it, but I don't. I like the feel of the front brake lever on a non-abs bike a whole lot better and to me, abs shine's in the rain but again, you won't catch me riding in it. Just my 2ct's.....................Putt
Voted no ABS but wish I did ,but not enough to pay for what they want to add it on been managing 40 years riding without it .. Maybe the next Bike if have another...
I've been to several bike shops around the Denver area and the sales guys have all told me that the vast majority of the bikes that people have ordered didn't include ABS. Most of their floor models don't have it either because, they say, people don't want it and won't buy the bikes that have it. I'm really surprised by the outcome of this poll.
If I get an '09 or a '10 I still haven't decided if I'll include ABS on it.
Thanks to one and all for participating in my poll and taking the time to post their feelings and opinions on this subject.
There are just some situations that id rather low side and get off the bike...cant do that with abs
Granted, maybe one could stop w/abs vs. having to get off the bike...who knows
