Short Rear Brake Lever
I just hooked up a 1998 Ultra Sidecar to my '08 Ultra. All seems ok except the rear brake pedal. It hits the lower sidecar mount that passes in front of the engine guard (connects to the down tube). I have been told that the 1997 thru 2002 touring bikes used a shorter brake lever that should clear the sidecar mount. Does anyone out there know if this is true, if so do you have a Harley part number????? All help appreciated.

There are 40 parts shown in the Sidecar connection kit! One of them is the brake lever.
That part number is 42631-08 (Brake Pedal assembly, rear w/ 57217-02)
The 57217-02 that is included is the bushing for the pivot.
