New 09 road glide hitch
Im looking at a hitch for 09 RG to pull my timeout camp trailer . Im a welder and fabricator . This frame is so different then the early models. The fender struts only run half way down but the saddle bag mounting it beefed up. I took the receriver hitch of the 2000 RG it is set up to flay flags also. Any help thanks.

Whatever you make, make sure it's removable. I can't remember where, but something about your warranty and trailer hitches popped in my head.
Good luck with your build and post some pictures when your done. I'm sure there are others that may want to do it as well.

Not sure if your saying you want to make your own or not. But I have bought hitches from this guy for an 05 RKC and an 08 SG. He has hitches for 09s. Take a look at his picts & download the instructions you might be able to get some design ideas.
