Getting ready to do this on vacation later this month. Just got word from Chicago HD that they shipped the last of the parts I need. Now its time to call Impress Plating for the lowers and cowbells. I dont have any faith in my dealer or the Harley chrome as I'm pretty **** about imperfections. Hope you have good luck with your install. Love to see pics after its done.

One of the best mods you can do. Much easier to maintain, and it always looks great! Congrats.... Now while you're doing that, why aren't you sending out your wheels to have them chromed too? J/K I sent my 9-spokes off to ChromeProsPlating and they did both wheels for a total of $550. I've been very pleased with that as well.

I did mine myself and would do it again in a heartbeat. It's really not a tough DIY job.

How difficult do you think this would be on a jack..no lift?

Also what else would I need besides the chrome front end kit from Harley, I know they leave little things out?
