thinking of putting lighted kuryakyn fender tip with plate relocation below tail light. what holds the stock tip and how do you remove it thanks. 05 roadking classic

 

I just put one on my RK. Two screws hold on the fender tip. If you have the lighted one, pull off the little red lens to get to the screws. Then take off the tail light lens to unplug it. There's a place under the tail light lens to plug in the new fender tip, (same place the old tip was connected to if you had a lighted tip stock) and it comes with a molded plug, all you do is push the wire ends into it, and they snap in place. Run the wire down and secure it in place. You have to curve bend yer plate to fit the frame.The whole thing took about 15 minutes.
