I have both front and rear from HDForum sponsor Soos. The word "extender" is a bit misleading, they move the boards out. I purchased them because my legs were curving in from my natural seating position to be on the boards and that cause them to be sore and tired all the time. I have the 1 inch version. You have no idea what a huge difference these things make. That little one inch seems like alot more. My legs are now straight down on the boards, I have better control and the comfort level is unreal. My passenger loves them also, they keep her legs from hitting my sides. She's a long legger . They take about 30 minutes to install both sets. They also allow your front floorboards to now fold completely up to a 90 degree angle when before they would hit the pipe and case. Get them, you wont regret it.

Another Soos fan here. I have the 1 inch extentions on both rider and passenger boards for the exact reasons posted by easyriderpgh. Perfect fit and finish. Quick delivery and crystal clear instructions. I also bought the 2 inch mirror extentions that make a big difference.

Are you talking about moving outward or forwards?

Hey Easyriderpgh, I don't want to hy-jack this thread but I'd sure be interested in learning more about your AC cover. Been looking for a good solution to loose the football and yours looks great. Maybe another thread?

Looks like the "Nostalgic" cover available at your HD dealer.

I use SOOS 3/4 kit. Seems to have taken a lot of stress of my legs.
I ride more relaxed now.
