Default Rinehart ?

A friend of mine got the Rinehart tru duels and didn't like how loud they were. So he took off the
mufflers but left on the tru duel headers and put on Screaming eagle slip ons
He made some adapter so they would fit
My ? is can I just get Rinehart tru duel head pipes so I can use his Rinehart muffles ?

thanks STEVE

You'll need to call Bub/Rinehart, but I think you could get a replacement set of header pipes. Ebay might have some luck too, somebody that dumped their bike and is just selling the header pipes because they weren't scratched up or something. What about the V&H true duals, have you called to see if they would work or not with the mufflers?

I have the V&H tru dual headers with Rinehart slipons. I like them but I think they are a bit quiet at times

See if ya can talk your friend into letting you buy him a set of V&H true dual head pipes.
V&H makes top notch stuff! This way you get a complete Rinehart system and then he can do away
with his adapter. The V&H head pipes will fit the SE pipes.
This should make you both happy....

With the GREEN Stuff, I'm sure Rineharts will sell you just the headers. But you'll want the heat shields as well.

I have the Rinehart true duals on my Ultra. The mufflers come stock with 2 1/4 inch diameter baffles. I wanted to try the Performance baffles (2 1/2 inch), they were much louder, maybe 6 or 8 dicibels louder. I thought that was a bit louder then I cared for so I put the stock baffles back in the mufflers.

After realizing that I couldn't hear my tunes as good as I prefer, I ordered the Rinehart quiet baffle (2 inch). Now the sound is about equal with the former SE perfomance mufflers with H-D stocK headers that was replaced with the rinehart true duals.

The bike sounds good and I can hear my tunes as well.
Hope this helped.
