Not quite but
I changed my front tire with 31K on it, does that count? I'm the third owner of the bike, all service done at same dealer. Wish I could ride 31K plus a year....
This is a question not to say you did 31,058 miles a year but to open a thread as in a question only.
My answer to the question is, no
And if in fact you did put such miles on in 1 year. You owe it to us to tell us how you did it. I calculate about 88 miles a day.
This thread is useless w/ out pic's
I apologize in advance for my doubt.
I live in Florida, I’m retired, my wife gives me a lot of leeway and I’ve been known to ride 50 miles one way to get breakfast. I started riding in 1964 (Triumph); my first HD was a 1976 AMF Sportster and I would have never believed that anyone would be able to ride a HD product this many miles with no serious problems. Indeed, it’s only been to the shop for routine service.
If I can manage to change a VA appointment I’ll be in Leesburg. Look for a short, bald guy on a white Street Glide with black true duals. I’ll be wearing a Widow’s Sons Patch and I should have another 1,200 miles on it by then.
No, sorry I can't compete with that mileage. Like most other people I have other responsibilities that prevent me from riding that much, even though I have been able to ride year round this year in TX. And if the next post asks us to pull out our d!ck$ to see whose is the biggest, im out on that too.
Last Saturday marked the last day of the first year since I took delivery on my 08 Street Glide. Can anyone beat 31,058 miles in the first (or any) year?
Well I cant say I did but!!!
I just bought my ultra last yeay its a 2006 !!!! Now the guy that owned before me purchased it new its got 73,000 miles on it !!!!!
The dealer that had it could not sell it with that many miles on it !!!!!
Rocky was the name of the guy that had it, he put that amount of miles in a 36 MONTHS!!!!! He lives in Iowa and yes he has a full time job!!!!
I'm retired but can't compete, I have done almost 4k miles in 2 1/2 months. Not easy I live on an island thats 75 miles end to end, wish I had an open road to ride.
I guess we got our bikes on the same day, Mar 28th or so. Anywho, I managed to ride 27000 miles by last weekend and have another 500 now. By the way, I was at 20000 the 1st week of November (7 months), so I'd say i've been slacking over the last 5 months
