Last Saturday marked the last day of the first year since I took delivery on my 08 Street Glide. Can anyone beat 31,058 miles in the first (or any) year?
Must have plenty of time on your hands to ride...I would love to be work...prevents me but allows me to own a nice bike...28000 in 20 months is all i could muster...

pertty good numbers and me thinks and "something to be proud of". I did 34k in the last 16 months between my 97FLSTS and 07 Ultra. sure wish I didn't have to work for a living, otherwise.......who knows. But then again I'd be out even more bucks than than 5 rear tires and two front tires this past year. It's a good thing I'm changing my own, otherwise I'd need two jobs and wouldn't be able to ride as much. There may be some Obama economic sense in that mumbo-jumbo, but I don't think so.
thank god and my ole Daddy for moving us from Erie PA to Florida back in 1969. Otherwise I'd be snow bound and suffering cabin fever right now. That said, with all the seasonable riding weather I get, I dare not brag too much when most can only ride for 7 months a year.
My hat is off to those nothern types who manage to chock up 12k+ in only a few moths a year. But then again, they get to ride the twisties, while I'm only hitting 11 curves in 318 miles! a.k.a. Florida the anti dragon

This is a question not to say you did 31,058 miles a year but to open a thread as in a question only.
My answer to the question is, no
And if in fact you did put such miles on in 1 year. You owe it to us to tell us how you did it. I calculate about 88 miles a day.
