My PC-V that i ordered from fuelmoto is set to arrive today.It's coming premapped for my 08 rkc w/cfr slipons and stock headers.Here's the thing i'm going to be adding dual headers on wednesday(wasnt originally planning to).So should i just wait till the headers are on to install the PC-V as it is or should i have it remapped before install since i'm adding the headers.Tried calling fuelmoto but its still closed.

 

I'd do the install on both and then get a new map from Fuelmoto if it's needed for the new headers.

 

Thanks.Actually it came in.I contacted fuelmoto and they sent me a new map.Already installed it in the PC-V.I'll wait to install the pcv till i install the headers which will be wed.

 

Either way, you can't lose - Jamie has always been very responsive in supplying new maps. It's so easy to download a new map to the PCV that I would be very tempted to install the unit so that I could enjoy it over the weekend, and just download a new map when the headers come in.

I plugged a mini-USB cable into my PCV and stashed it under my seat so that I wouldn't need to remove the saddlebag and side cover to download a new map - very convenient!
