Bought race tech emulators for my 09 Ultra Classic Instructions are confusing as directions do not show what I have ...vis a vie drilling holes in the rods any one out there do it already??

I did mine last month, great set of valve's and ride, drilling was very easy, what is your question.

they had sent wrong instructions on where to drill and since have sent correct ones... Still trying to wrap my head around how adding the small spring lowers the bike an inch??

Adding the small spring raises the dampener rod up which in turn moves the fork slider up...thus creating a lowering effect.

Don't forget you will be cutting a new set of springs spacers also,

My Race Tech emulators came with blue and yellow springs for the emulators, which ones do the touring bikes use???
