you the man, I would have died right there from a heart attack, hate snakes got bit by a copperhead when I was younger. Was bass fishing with my dad in florida a few years back water moccassion kept trying to get in the boat, long story short fish where biting dad wouldn't leave I shot a hole in the boat trying to hit the snake. Dam that was an expensive trip. Thanks for the laugh and the memory.
Funny story for sure. I ran over a snake once on the bike and worried for a few miles that it got hung up on the bike with me. I really hate snakes. I would never live in a house with someone with a pet snake.
The wife and I just laughed our a$$es off!! Until I just just reminded her of a few years ago I ran a snake over in Bear Mountain NY.( it looked like a 4' black hose)
Gawwwd, I just can't get this picture out of my mind of a big, bad-*** biker all dressed in leathers being chased down the road by a snake...wavin' a gun and screamin' like a little girl! -Funny story!
Snake stories make some of the funniest readin'....glad your wife was okay.

well I wasn't exactly screamin like a little girl...but I was hollerin at the snake to get off my bike
glad y'all enjoyed....I know my wife still enjoys it and gives me hell about it! (the whole thing is her fault because if she wasn't in the line of fire in the first plact I could have shot it before it chased me!!!! I can enjoy it now that it's in the past....but that crap didn't set well with me! I figured that ole snake would live in my bike forever....!
this is actually the second snake that has attacked me...(living on the lake you get this).
First time was couple years ago. water on lake was up on my property. wife was fishing at night. I was up at house on couch in the AC (cooked crawfish all evening and I was tired/drunk/hot). she came back to house about 10pm and wanted me to take a 14" catfish off her line. I told her to leave the fish on, leave it in water and it would live and I'd take it off in the morning.....went down at 6:30, fishing pole was bent over but towards land and not water...got up to it....big snake swallowed catfish and snake was hung up cause hook was in catfish....he was mad being hung up all night...I go to get fishing pole and he charges....luckily he can only go so far....well, same 32 took care of him. he had the catfish 1/2 way down his body and the cork was at his mouth!!!!
This one was easier and I wasn't all dressed to ride and screamin like a little girl
here's my boathouse on the water where all the snakes are
