I have a 120 mile round trip into my office about 3 days a week. In WA, bikes get to use the carpool lane so it cuts a lot of time off my commute, plus I GET to ride.
Today on the way home Im in the carpool lane following a pickup truck. As usual, Im in the left of center slot. For no apparent reason I see a couple light brake taps on the truck and then the driver sticks his left hand out of the window and points down at the road a couple times. Anyway, we all know what that means and sure enough, a nice big hunk of retread appears from under his truck, dead center lane. I think I would have missed it anyway but you never know and so the thought and the gesture was MUCH appreciated.
A mile or so down the road I moved over to grab my exit and noticed the small HD sticker in the back window. Gave him a salute in thanks and he saluted back.
Just kind of a cool moment and a reminder that bikers do drive cages and that being a biker just comes natural sometimes, even while drivn a cage.
BTW, I would have appreciated it just as much if it was a Honda or Yamaha sticker in that window, but the HD made it just a little better.
I wish the driver(s) in front of me last April 25th would have done that for me; Could have avoided nearly losing my life.
Nice to hear there are still a few people that get it!
(P.S. Clint55, I went to high school in Richland, back before the name was changed Richland High! I was "Columbia High" for my sophomore and junior years)

Glad your still with us KC. BTW, I was stationed at Pete Field in CO Springs from 74 to 77. Used to ride my Kawi 750 Triple 2 Stroke (purple) up to Lowry AFB on weekends to visit a certain nurse!
