I have not tried those that you linked too. I do know that some bulbs create more heat than stock bulbs and can cause damage, beware and do your research. That big old headlight is nothing but a big waiting to melt piece of plastic, not to mention the wiring can overheat. Will keep watching to see the results of this thread. I personally use Silverstars from autozone. Brighter white and no heat problems. Last quite well too so far.
Caution y'all. Halogen is the gas inside one type of bulb that operates on standard 12VDC like these being sold. HID (High-Intensity Discharge) uses an entirely different process. HID requires a separate electronics package to produce the necessary voltage to create an actual arc inside the bulb. In addition, there is no need for blue tinting on the outside of a true HID lamp. Perhaps this vendor just doesn't truly understand what he's selling but his text is also contradictory...
