Can you recall working on this bike? It is exactly what I am looking for. Do you have pics of this one? I could not find any RKC basket weave style on the site.
they use your old seat cover so the weave will be there! it's just the shape/foam padding is different. cover is the one you send them.

We work on the RK Classics all the time. The seat is going to remain stock appearing for the most part. We have worked on 09's and I'll have to look through the computers to find a picture because I know I have taken some but I doubt seriously you will be able to tell anything has been done, the 09 covers are good covers to work with because the way they are made.

Might be a dumb question, but the reason I ask is because I wonder where the extra material comes from? Does the stock material just get stretched out to fit the voided padding? The area I'm referring to is the section where the lower back rests.
Pics.... Please, Please,Please.....!!!
This sounds perfect!!
I should get the RK together by tommorrow...I can get some pics then..... Just get on their schedule... you can't go wrong.... just be sure that you get everything you want changed on your WRITTEN order... I emailed Al after they got my seat before it was worked on to have them do the passenger pillion area as well. Al responded and said he would be sure the order got changed. It didn't ...... it got shipped back to me without the pillion being done. Other than that, all looks great.

Thanks. I think I'm planning on having the passenger pad stay the same, so my wife and her nice butt stays happy!
Here are the new pics with the seat mods..... finally got to ride her, just a quick 60 mile blow, but the seat gets an A+..... I liked a lot about her, but you can take that Harley transmission and put it in a lawn tractor,(must be spoiled by the S&S 6 speed in my softail).

Looks great! You can really tell where they removed padding from the thigh area. How does it look like it will wear in that region? Looks like the seat pan is pushing on the material at the bottom edge thigh area. I think this is the rout I will be taking for my seat. Thanks for all the responses and info.
there is some padding on that edge, not much, but some..... I stayed in the seat today for 65 miles without getting off and it was real comfortable, no hot spots, no bottoming out....I think it's a keeper!
