With so many improvements in 09, you'd really be better to spend a little extr $$ and get it. You'd need a screamin' deal on an 08 to make it worth your while, and that's NOT a screamin' deal.... Ask the dealer if it's a rental or trade in, chances are if it's a trade the previous owner is riding an 09 now. That should tell you something.

Welcome from sunny(?) Cleveland, OH. I agree with the others, for that price I'd go with the '09 - the changes are significant enough to warrant spending a little more for a new bike. Plus you get to make the ***-dent in the seat, not slide around in someone else's ***-dent.

I would ask for a better deal,but I am very happy with my 08 and I paid less than MSRP in 08 because the 09 were about to debute.Get a better dael or get an 09.
