I wear glasses. Have tried 3/4 with shield in the rain with limited success. The water seems to come up under the shield and then I have three surfaces with water: glasses, face shield and windshield (which I'm mostly looking over).
Thought I might try a modular or FF for my long rides this summer. Three or four planned. Could use it on the slab which would probably work good, then break it out when I put on the rain suit.
Any suggestions or real-world experience would be MUCH appreciated before I buy. First trip coming up in exactly one month (can't wait!)
I use a HJC module with no problems, have been threw some hellious downpours chin will get wet if I don't have the collar of the rainsuit tucked up under, but never an issue of it coming up to hit my glasses.
I don't wear glasses but Terrie and I wear the Nolan N-102. We've wore them in some torential down pours, riding across the country and our head stays totally dry.
Our body does too......the Tour Master Elite II two piece rain suits.
Our feet do too.......Original Swat Rain Proof boots.
Nolan N-102 seems popular. I'll have to check it out. Although, I have a credit at the local dealer and might be able to pick up one cheaper with the credit. I think HJC makes some of the harley helmets.
Just bought Fulmers Modus because they were $100.00... i hope they work fine...I have always worn Fulmer because they have the most clearance for my chin and for a Microphone...My buddies wear Nolans and they love them.

I wear glasses too, tried the modular and couldn't deal with wearing a "bucket". Guard Dogs Commander goggles have worked well for me, with a bandana when it's really raining and cold. Only time they didn't help was a gully washer last fall, splashback from an oncoming car hit the engine and steamed up everything. Than again, nothing would have helped than.
