08 CVO Road King mufflers
08 CVO Road King mufflers
Stupid question that I think I already know the answer to but, did the 08 CVO Road King come with Screamin Eagle mufflers? My dad has an 08 SE Road King and he changed his pipes out and I can have his old mufflers for free but if they are the same as the stock 09 touring mufflers I will pass. Im pretty sure they are SE mufflers though.

They look nice with their billet end caps, but I believe they also contain catalysts. Doubt you'd want that in addition to the catalyst already in the '09 Cali models' connector pipes.

The stock pipes off an '08 CVO RK have the catalysts in the baffles, in the mufflers themselves. Fullsac makes replacement baffles to go right in them. (1.75", 2", and 2.25")
Remove the stock baffles(along with the cats), drill one hole in each muff and in go the Fullsac baffles. Easy job.
