Default Changing TBW grip ?

When changing the throttle side grip what is the best way to change it. Release the swith housing and just slide it off? What about installing the new as well. Thanks guys

Just slide the new one on and wiggle in untill it feels seated.

If its the oem grip you are removing, just spread the switch housings apart enough to clear the grip, than just give the stock grip a tug and it will release from the TBW sensor. Look at the end of the sensor and confirm that the seal is still on the sensor and not inside the grip. To put the new grip on, if its a HD grip, just line up the grip so any designs on it match the left grip. Slide it on until you feel the gear inside the grip engage the sensor and close the switch housings around it. There is a groove in the switch housings that the grip fits into. The new HD grip does not "click into place" like the oem grip did. There should be some decent instructions with the grips also.

Install the right grip first and get it working right and then take the left one off and line it up to match the right one. Not hard at all.
