Default Doherty Power Pacc

I'm looking for some ideas for my problem...........

My Doherty PowerPacc with Powervents is weeping oil from the breather bolts. The plastic washers are worn, stretched, and broken and are not doing a very good job of sealing. So I need to replace them and I would like to know if anyone has found anything that works better and is more durable at a local hardware store or autoparts store.

I know I can order new ones from Doherty, but they are just going to fail again.

Thanks,

Steve

Trying to remember what I did when I had them. If I am not mistajen they are quite thin. A quick off the top of my head would be a thin fiber washer, but it may not look correct. Drag specialties sells a bag of them cheap. They are really design to last only 1 assembly and disassembly.

Harley uses rubber o-rings and they work quite well.

Best fix is copper or aluminum crush washers.
I use them, never had a problem.

I'm going to hit the hardware store and auto parts store this weekend and see what I can find to fix this problem. They are very thin cheap plastic, and I've installed/removed a few times......so they are toast now.

I have a Doherty PowerPac as well, I did not like the plastic washers that came with the kit so I bought some H-D ones for the Screaming Eagle A/C Kit. They have worked out just fine and don't leak, sorry but I don't have the part #.

Good Luck...
