What generation Nano?
There are some nice kits for some of the older Nano's...allow you to hook the ipod up in trunk and have a remote on the handlebars somewhere and run it out of the weather....as for the newest one...I don't know. I have one also and haven't hook it it up yet. Guess you could put in a fairing pouch and run the aux wire down....or a small leather pouch on the tank console...just thinking.
The Otter box on the handlebar would look out of place to me....

I was just recently relieved of mine that I kept in my right-hand glove box. I suggest mounting it in plain view so you're not tempted to grab a quick bite with it not in your pocket. JMO

I use this for my Shuffle, might work for a Nano. Parts can now be purchased for $6, and everything is right there in front of you. 3000 miles and it has never moved.

I just drop in one of the three pockets I have mounted on the windshield. It's quick and hassle free and use my forks to mount my GPS, Cup Buddy, and XM.
