I don;t have a problem with it but.... with all the misnomers about bikers and who we are doesn;t this just scream...what they think? just me two dimes
It's your bike and since you live in the United States of America you can do what you want! We don't live in a communist country and if you don't like it don't look at it, that's your right. As for all the kids and "Blue Hairs" that might see it, who cares! I am sure they see and hear much worse on television. There are all kinds of jerk-offs in the world and just because you choose to put this on your bike doesn't make you one. I wouldn't put it on my bike, but who cares what I am going to do. If you like it that is all that matters. Maybe he just thinks it's cool and isn't trying to make a statement. Also what does his age have to do with it? I have seen a lot of dumb *** 50-60 year olds!! Just my thoughts, but mine don't really matter either, just saying.
Wow - a lot of strong opinions on this particular topic.
I have to admit that I chuckle when I read some bumper stickers or t-shirts when they're bordering on profane - but I would never put this on my bike, and I wouldn't want my kids to see it/read it when they're walking around at bike night...
I just shake my head everytime I see somthing like this.
Yes, I appreciate our constitutional right for free speech...in the context that the government will not punish me for speaking out against injustices. But, I mean, c'mon...when did we split hairs so fine that 'freedom of speech' meant you could justifiably be offensive, crude, insensitive and disrespectful and we had to be fine with it?
Yes, its my right to not read it...but how can I explain to my kids that your freedom trumps a parents rights to teach them right from wrong?
IMO, and my right as a free man to say it: Your linkage sucks! I hope you don't drive down my street anytime soon.
That cracks me up. Everyone of us on this forum stops to look at probably evry bike they see parked. You are going to look at it, if by nothing else, sure habit. its not like you're going to walk up to a bike and know there is something vulgar written on it until you see it. I agree, if its yours, do what you want, I just wouldn't want to have to explain to my kids why some guy thought it was cool to put that on his bike.....
