Hey Jeff
Go with your gut feelings. Don't pay any attention to all this "holier than thou" crap. What did you expect from a bunch of motorcycle enthusiasts?

FTW...........for the win............HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I wouldn't put that on my scooter. I don't even use that kind of language when talking to club members and they know why. It's my preference. Sort of a respect thing from my perspective in more ways than what might first meet the eye.
As far as the being free thing, I don't really see how that plays in. Ya have to comply with the laws where ever ya go anyway or else ya have to hide from the law and not hold a steady job or residence to support your interests. That does get old after a while.

First impressions mean alot to most people... yours probably wouldn't be favorable although you probably wouldn't care.
In case you didn't realize it, you can either take your new linkage as a Statement or a Title. I'd bet Title might be offensive even to you.

"I'm an Idiot" would have been more to the point...but more expensive since it has more letters.

I wouldn't put it on my scoot because my service advisor said it would void the warranty.
Go figure......

I had just backed the bike into a parking spot by the sidewalk and was taking off my jacket when I heard some little kids behind me. When I turned around and looked, there were about 20 1st graders being led by their teacher, all holding hands, walking in a line walking behind my bike. One of the kids, a cute little blond girl, walked by me and said "Mister, I love your bike". An innocent little kid who, for whatever reason, thought I had a cool bike.

So, if I wanted to exercise my "freedom of speech" I could have....what?.....told that little girl to f@@k off? How about having my daughter's teacher see a shift linkage like that on my bike. Yeah, that would have been cool.

The way I see it, it comes down to this. There is no reason to have anything like that on a bike, a car, a t-shirt, or anything else unless you are trying to convince people that you are some kind of bad ***. And none of the true, legitimate, tough guys I have known have ever had to advertise it. They were the real deal without the props.
Well said put it to bed!

Thank you for your service to our country. I appreciate that very much. But I still think your linkage gives all MC riders a bad image and is just flat out disrespectful. We all want to express ourselfs, but we have an obligation as decent people to respect each other. You are far from the only one that does it, but that does not make it right. If you really want to be cool, be respectful to all. In return you will get respect. Real respect. That is what is really cool. I think you can tell by the responses what most of your MC brothers think. Isn't it the MC brothers that you want respect from? Ride safe brother.
