I have a PCV on my wish list, but I'm hesitant to add it because of all the talk about it killing the factory warranty. I'm not sure which side to believe on this issue, so I may just hold off and wait it out until the warranty is up before I add it.
The PCV won't violate your warranty unless it is the cause of a repair which is almost impossible. In years of following these forums I have yet to hear of an issue like this. As Pidnaul said if you're worried about it you can remove the PCV quickly before any warranty or other repair/maintenance work by the dealer.

wish i could find someone knowledgeable with the pc-v in my area, eastern oklahoma. oh well, keith sent me a map via email immediately to get my 08 sg running right, still a bit rich with the canned map for the se ac, rinehart slip ons, and the stage 1 download. now i think i may just get ta tweakin, or better yet, find someone who's not a rip off with a dyno. any suggestions? sure made mine run lots better though even with the canned map for my application. thanks guys at fuel moto, you rock.

I think with most all open pipes you're going to get decel pop/gargling. As for me, as much as I don't like decel pop and equate it to a lean condition, this is why it's important to adjust it on the Dyno and go by what the readout tells you. As long as I know I'm close to the 13.8, which I'm actually a hair above and still have decel pop, I'm good to go and fatter than stock!
