I've emailed Jamie w/ questions and always gotten a reply within 24 hrs, even though their automated reply says to give them 48. They'll also tell you, the best way is calling them.... Just my experiences thus far with them. Will be ordering my PC-V and A/C kit soon from FM and Jamie!
I promise we are not trying to leave anyone behind and we appreciate your understanding during this time of the season. For those who cannot get thru please be patient as I promise we are here to help. Me and my guys (Cindy too) have the phone attached to our ears from 9:00-5:00 on 6 phone lines and I personally answer several hundred emails every day, many times late in the evening and from my Blackberry. If for some reason you have tried and cannot reach us, send an email to jamie@fuelmotousa.com and put HDFORUMS in the subject and I will respond ASAP.
Not sure about that one...emailed Jamie on 18 Apr to ask about help for a new map...no answer (today being 21 Apr at 10:49pm). If your not going to answer emails, then why put "for questions, email...?"
just my .02.
Did you purchase your PC-V from Fuel Moto? With your invoice number you can use the map request form at http://fuelmotousa.com/mapsupport.htm and we can get you the map you need.
Here in Sacramento, Cali the temps are starting to rise up to the high 90's. The past two days on my trip home around 5:30 my bike constantly went into cylinder deactivation mode. I was getting tired of it pretty fast. So yesterday I called Fuel Moto for some help and was able to talk to Keith. He gave me lots of answers to all the questions I had and was able to give me instructions on adjusting the fuel tables to lower the temps. When I got home that night I added 4 to tables: 1000rpm @2%TP, 1250rpms-3000rpms up to 20%TP, and added 2 to 1250rpms-3000rpms in the 40%TP column. These numbers I figured myself as Keith told me to add 5 to all the tables overall. This is the main rpm range that I ride after work and usually like to keep the bike at 2800-3200rpms. Today will be the test of how well this will work for me. If it tuns out good I'll probably dial the adjusted tables down by one at a time to find the point just prior to too much heat production. This way I can still get decent MPGs too. Keith took the time to listen to all my questions and absolutely did not rush me off the phone or make my questions feel like they were irritating. I was very satisfied with the phone call and customer service I received that day. Will update the results tomorrow incase anyone wants to know.
I'm about 2 hours south of Sacramento (Merced) and also feeling the heat. I installed my FuelMoto Power Commander V last Dec. and soon will be calling Keith or Jamie to lower the heat.
Thanks for the info.
I have a PCV on my wish list, but I'm hesitant to add it because of all the talk about it killing the factory warranty. I'm not sure which side to believe on this issue, so I may just hold off and wait it out until the warranty is up before I add it.

If your worried about it, all you have to do is remove the unit before any warranty work.

Don't worry about it, no decent dealer is going to give you crap about making your bike run better.
hmm thats weird the fuelmoto guys told me not to enter any values under the 0% column. I was going to toy with it myself anyhow to try and sort out some decel rumble, but i had been told to leave the 0% values alone. confused.
Are you running the Auto-Tune modules? If so, DJ recommends not entering any values other than zero in the 0% column of the Target AFR tables. Those values should all be zero in these tables, but you can make changes by altering the base map just as you can with a PCV alone. If the values are zero in the Target AFR tables it will not auto-tune and will use the base map values as is.
I have -10 from 3k on up and I've inserted some negative numbers from 1250-2750 to balance out a rich condition I had in that area. I've never had decel pop regardless of the values used in the 0% column.
