Default help.....CODE 25!

OK i have a 02 EGC and the check eng light came on. ran the code and came up with only one.....25 which if i'm correct is IAT (intake air temp) sensor voltage "low". I was cruisin about at about 75mph when the light came on. I backed off the throttle a lil and the light went out....got home and checked the code and this is what i got. the bike seems to be running fine. is there something i should check, clean or should i just run out and buy a new sensor?
I checked the diagnostic threads already but really didn't find anything specific to this
thanks for any imput guys

Get the electrical service manual, it should help you with troubleshooting. That way your not buying parts you don't need.

well i was hoping to avoid buying that....i'm good at doing service items, intimidated with the electronics of it. I could buy the electrical diagnostic service manual, it might as well be written in Korean...lol

It is probably not a short, but it could be a loose wire but then again it could probably just need to replace the coil, but if you look in the manual it will show you what the resistance reading should be then you would know if it bad or not...

well i checked all connections to the coil.....bought new plugs...I put the harley ones back in...it had a set of ac delcos. but looked like it wouldn't hurt to change em, went fpr a ride yesterday afterwords and no engine light. so we'll see. I was gonna pull the coil and check it an the wires but that looks like its gonna be a bigger job than what i wanted to start yesterday.....tight to get in there without taking the tank loose.
