I always ran Amsoil 20/50 engine oil and Amsoil SVG 75W90 trans in my 04 RG. I am ready to do the 5K on my 09 SG and was wondering if anyone is using the Amsoil SVG 75w90 in the 6 speed trans.
The dealer put Syn3 in the engine and Belray synthetic in the trans on 1k service. I would like to go back to the Amsoil that I am use to. Anybody see a problem?
Any honest answers are greatly appreciated. I wanna service this thing in the morning.
I just put the Redline ShockProof Heavy in my 09' Ultra, seems to be fine. I was coming from dino oil though so I am sure that is why it seems soooo much better.
I like the 85/140 Mobile 1 in the tranny. I tried 75/90, it wasn't as smooth. I believe in Amsoil, I just don't want to have to order case quantity to get a decent price.
