I dont see the Harley sizes.
Nor do I see the 160-80-16's people are talking about.
Any change in tire height affecting ABS , IIRC , probly affects the speed sensor for the ABS , which may affect the way the ABS is activated ..
went out riding yesterday for 4 hours and didn't have any difference in the brakes the abs or any thing, i don't know if it affected it or not but there is no noticeable difference
The biggest diffrence and why Harleys dont use Radials is wieght. The wieght rating for Bias Ply is greater then the Radials.
I dont believe Harley puts any radial tires on there touring bikes at all.
I am close to 7K on this set of E3s and love not only the wear but the performance both on the highway and on twisties has been fantastic. They really hold the road nicely.
Maybe someone already said, but how do the E3's handle on wet pavement? That's the main reason I went from the stock Dunlops on my bike to the Michelin Commanders.

The E3's were originally designed for Gold Wings to address complaints by GW riders of poor tire mileage. Before I purchased my first E3 I checked the GW forums and found nearly universal praise for them in wet and dry conditions. If it does well on a heavier touring bike known for handling prowress, my thoughts were that it will surely do as well on a Harley. I was right and see the same kudos on the HD forums now that this tire has caught on with the Dark Side as well. I don't believe I've seen one negative remark about it in the past couple of years since it became known to us.
