I've been reading AI for about 4 years steady, and I haven't seen a test like that ever.
The old Rinehart design might have performed badly, but the new design Rinehart is supposed to do much better. That is why I'm looking for dyno info, or comparisons like this.
how about just running the snot outta that beast just the way it is.planning another run out to new york in a few weeks, cant wait should be another good ride.

I'll run the snot outta it with either the TH or Rineharts on it............LOL
sounds like you already made up your mind on them rineharts.have you bought em yet?
No, haven't bought anything yet...........and haven't made up my mind yet.
It's a tough decision........I like things about both exhausts. I'm going to check out a guys bike with Rineharts on it tomorrow, look them over and inside, and listen to them.
I went to Big Moose today, and asked what is "legal" for inspection this year. They told me that everything is passing except for drag pipes and S/E pipes for off-road use.
Pardon my ignorance. Aren't the performance differences between these pipes all in the range of 1 or 2 horsepower? Is anyone gonna ever really notice one way or another? Unless we are running the 1/4 mile and are trying to find that extra .001 ET - what's the point? Tell you how I picked my exhaust... spent a day at street vibrations (Reno) watching and listening to all sorts of bikes speed by. Too me, all loud exhaust sounds cool, but one would turn my head everytime. After awhile I figured out that I was only turning my head to find out what bike was behind "that" sound. Everytime (for me) it was a bike running a Thunder Header. That's all I needed and that's what I've run on all 3 of the Harley's I've run. Don't know, nor do I care, which pipe eeeks out that extra 1/2 horsepower. For me. it's the sound first - that's what I hear mile by mile - and that's what makes me happy.
Not meant as a slam to anyone on a quest for more horsepower.... that's just the way I picked my exhaust and I've never regretted it.
