Go with the powered am/fm antenea in the fairing. If you aren't using, and don't plan on using the cb, just don't relocate the cb antenea at all. Hide the cb antenea wire under the seat along with the am/fm antenea wire that you won't be using if you go with the powered unit under the fairing. I went with the powered unit & love it. Sorry, but I have no idea what brand it is. I bought it on one of those "open package table sales" at a local dealer. Because of this it was cheap (under $15), but it works great.
Pab, I just saw a CB antenna kit for the right side of the bike on the rear. Are you familiar with this?
Everette, go to HD's website and use part no. 70032-09; it's a quick disconnect for '09 Ultras using the detachable kit mentioned above. List price is $79.95 and should be what you need. It's listed under Genuine Motor Accessoriess, New Products, Touring.

Thanks, I had looked at that and agree that it is needed, but I think I will have to buy new antenna's, since my antenna's are attached to the tour pack.
I've installed the detachable kit on my 09 Ultra. All you need is the kit from Harley. Takes about two hours to install. It relocates your am/fm antenna inboard of the left saddlebag. You lose the CB with the tourpack off, but I don't use it anyway, so that's ok. The only thing I didn't like about the kit was the bracket for relocating the license plate. It looks cheap and puts the plate above the tail light, so I changed out my rear lights to those from a Street Glide.
Everette, below is the part that the dealer ordered for me when I had it put on at the time of purchase. 09' Ultra The kit below is new for 09's.
53246-09 Kit, Tour-Pak Detach, FLH $549.59 ( this comes with everything you need, including AM/FM antenna relocation hardware)
They do not make a relocation kit for the CB yet that I am aware of. If you find differently let me know.
Keep in mind that this "kit" is really for the Classic only and not the Ultra. From what I understand some dealers may not install it for you because of this. Mine did, so that just means you need to find the right dealer.

I just found out yesterday the 53246-09 is not available anymore. It was suppose to be replaced with the 53246-09A at the beginning of April, but now they are saying the first of May. I guess I will wait to see what shakes out. Thanks
