Question Flh-Flhx windshield

Can someone please give me an accurate measurement of the width across their windshield,
across the outside, over the curve, and just above the screws and fairing lip?
I have installed a new Wide Open Customs detachable fairing on my RK.... the shield that I ordered with the fairing (5 1/2") is not tall enough.
I am looking to order a Clarks wide windshield and need to be sure it's compatable.
Thank you

thanks again

For all HD "batwing" fairings used from 1996-2009:

The linear (flat) measurement from the centerline of the center hole, to the centerline of either outside hole is 10.062 or 10 1/16". In a linear plane, the outside holes are raised above the center hole to compensate for the curvature as installed .

Im not familar with Wide Open Customs fairings... but if they do not accept the OEM HD windshields then their measurements are of their own design and may not be compatable with Clarks shields which I know are made to HD specs.

Hope this helps......

Thanks Jim,
The shield that I have is installed already, and when I measure over the curve on the outside, over screw heads I get 10 1/4" so, I think that may be real close.
also, the Harley fairing bra (new) fits perfectly, on the fairing screw holes (a good sign)
I know that the WOC fairing shield is only 21 1/2" wide..... so some trimming and mods will be required
