Default First time doing brakes

I have a 03 ultra classic electra glide. I bought my brake pads from hd. I do not have the manual...i cant afford one. So can you guys give me some help on what i have to do? Do i have to remove the rear caliper? What about the front? Thanks, vinnie

You might be able to change them without pulling the calipers, I just change mine on my 01 but had my wheels off for new tires. Don't touch the big bolts, remove the 1/4" (Twelve Point) heads, after you unscrew the pins the pads have to come out the bottom partialy for the tabs on top of the pad to clear (they fit into pockets in the caliper), so it will be tricky fishing them out and in again. The new ones are a tight squeeze, the pistons have to be all the way in.

Thanks. Looks like i will need to replace my rear rotor.
