Default Jiffy stand bracket replaced....Big difference

Just had the jiffy stand bracket replacement done on my 09 EGC while I was on vacation. Took about a month for my dealership to get the part in as it was on back order. Funny they knew nothing about it as I was the first to bring it up. Service bulliten came out about a week after I talked to them. They still think I am an insider as I am consantantly bringing them news.

What a difference it makes. It sits more upright now and does not feel like it is gonna fall over when setting it down on the stand. If you are eligible to get this done I highly recommend it.

BTW since a good percentage of you are probably wondering WTF I am talking about read

That is one thing I have never had a problem with. Service department has always taken real good care of me without fail.

I had my Jiffy Stand Bracket changed out a few days ago, and what a difference. My dealer was the same way. Didn't know anything about it till I told them. WTF I guess the MOCO doesn't inform anybody till the last minute.

According to Dawg it is the bikes that are built before November, I`m not 100% sure. Mine was built in November and does not need the upgrade.

I have heard about the Jiffy stand. Where do you find things like this about HD's? Mine was made before Nov. I realy don't have a problem with it leaning over.
If I lean hard on a left turn I scrape the Jiffy Stand? Anyone else have this problem? Especially if it is at a Left turn at an intersection. I can do it going down the road. HD service guy had never heard of it either, They told me I was too agressive in my turns. I do not like it hitting first. Is there anything I can do to help without cutting off the tab to bring it down?

Mine will be on tomorrow it took them 2 weeks to get the part. They didn't even know about it. I had to have HD main office call them so they knew it was true. Have DAWG to thank for the heads up.
