I thought about putting one in about the same place but was worried it might block airflow to the motor. Guess I got another reason not to install one. Thanks for the info

Thanks for the heads up. Yes it does suck, but like you said you can easily repair it.

I made the same mistake years ago on my Sporty. All it did was scrape the paint on the fender though. I was able to buff it out.
