Default Seat swapping???

Does anyone know if its possible to put a seat from a 2007-09 street glide on an 89 FLHTC??? I know anything is possible but I was wondering how much is involved before I go drilling holes in my fender. Has anyone done this?

I've been swapping, buying, selling seats the last few weeks looking for something that will work, anyway, most of the seats are marked to fit 97-07 for FLHT bikes/Road Kings/Etc. Like you said I'm sure you can make anything work but to bolt-on I'd say No, it won't bolt on. Gary

You can't even take a seat from an '09 and put it on an '07, things changed in '08.

i put the Corbin from my 01 on my 09 by removing the front tab from the seat. the passenger strap and rear screw hold the seat securely with no movement when riding. 1800 miles with great comfort.
