I use tan unlined deerskin gloves for long trips. The light color keeps your hands from getting hot from the sun and protects them from buring if your fair skined like I am
I got a pair of Icon perforated leather gloves and non perf. love them best fitting gloves i ever had,and they wont turn your hands black if they get wet,

Why change... my dealer (Lake Shore Harley, Libertyville, IL.) sells the Olympias. I'm sure you can find the all over or at least in one of the on-line accesory guys.
Sounds like the perforated mesh might be a good choice for summer and getting them wet.
