hi, great site. been lerkin for awhile, but now i have a ? my turn signal flasher dosen't work (blinkers wont blink, just stay on) my ? is wheres the flasher. thanks in advance 1990 flht. kevin
There are 2 flashers. One for the directionals and one for the 4-ways. They are mounted under the dash in the upper right hand corner under the tach. The wires are quite short and they are mounted in a spring clip like a circuit breaker.
Reach up under the right front corner of the cowl and the directional flasher is generally the one most inboard. Flip on your 4-ways and you'll be able to feel which one it isn't.
thanks for the replys. im heading to the barn to check it out. sooie, did i say somthing to offend you? i dont understand your reply. thanks again. kevin
the flasher on my 85 was rectangular shaped. i went to an auto parts store and got an automotive flasher #552. only a couple of bucks. cheeper than the hd brand.
