robandlyn, that video really says it all. loud and crystal clear too. you helped me decide, now that really rocks. great information i just recieved by viewing your video. thanks a bunch. i'm gonna order the hogtune speakers and the pod tweeters. yeow that absolutely rocks. thanks, jim in oklahoma.
Did you do the pod if not it will be the same WOW when you put it on. I told my wife tonight that it was bad that my bike now has a better sounding stereo than my truck. (I got that look)
I have thought the same thing, the bike sounds better then the infinty system in my truck.

The new improved speakers are even better, I replaced my 3 yr old hog tune speakers with the new ones and there is a nice improvement.
I have the new speakers, pod and amp. when put side by side with my buddys bone stock system we can barely hear a difference. at 3/4 volume I am cracking and popping. Before I talk trash, I want to contact pez to verify everything is the way it is supposed to be.
I must have bad speakers. replaced all 4 with hogtunes and really did not notice a difference. I keep hearing about the new speakers. mine are about a year old are the the new or old style???????????. maybe i need the tweeters and amp.

Turn your Bass down to 50%, tremble to 30% and your AGV to 4. You should be seeing a big difference between your bike and stock bike for sure. If this does not work, call PEZ, you would have to have an issue somewhere else.
Did you add the amp too or just the speakers? I've bee wondering how much better the speakers are with and without the amp.
I did my sound upgrades in this order:
1. Hogtunes speakers. Noticeable difference, worth the $90 cost.
2. Hogtunes amp. Another noticeable difference, also worth the $217 cost.
3. DynaXorb pads. Pez at Hogtunes thinks these don't help much, and he's da man for sound, but to my ears they were a meaningful improvement for <$25 spent. YMMV.
4. Hogtunes Tweeter Pods. More improvement and worth the $155 cost (with HDForums discount).
5. New and improved Hogtunes speakers. Bought these but can't tell much if any difference from the older model. They are supposed to be 20% higher volume. I have these older speakers in excellent shape for sale at $60+shipping if anyone's interested. Would not recommend buying these if you already have the older model, as they both sound great.
I think the pods look great and will utilize all of the speaker outputs on the HK stereo but in reality half the people on this forum must be deaf because my stock streetglide can be easily heard at 75mph! ha ha

I also thought the stock system was adequate when I hadn't heard anything else, but when you upgrade and then switch bikes with a stock setup you'll understand the difference. The issue isn't so much loudness but quality.
Had a fun day. Installed Flash2Pass garage door opener, in fairing antenna, Hogtunes replacement fairing speakers and Tweeter Pod. Man what a difference good speakers make. It already sounds great. Tomorrow I'll finish up by installing the Hogtunes Fairing Lowers speaker/amp kit. Whooohooo!!
