I have to admit that I have a birth defect, because I was born without the gene that makes me want a painted fairing -- too shiny and reflective for me. I like my cockpit black and stealthy.
Then, I see a post where DAWG has discovered a cure for my congenital anomaly -- the two-toned painted inner fairing. Damn -- now that's something I don't think I can live much longer without...

I love my gloss black painted inner fairing, but it's no different than everyone else's standard painted inner fairing.
The best looking one I've seen is Rob's. It's silver (with flake), with black around the spun aluminum gauges, with a mild fade at the bottom. It's KILLER!
