Does anyone know where is Toad Lick, TN... On a road trip and a friend want a T-Shirt from Bubb's bike shop... There really is such a place...

Nope, taint no such place as a Salt Lick, Ten-a-see. Now, a-ways on towards the sun-set thars a place in Ark-ken-saw a-called "Salt Suck". Ya see, a 'suck' is kinda like an ol' salt block, ur-a small ways a water ta flow on down the stream. Thems called 'licks'. Mighten be-s that's-a why a place like 'Salt Suck' just mighten be a-called "Salt Lick" by the nice church ladies. Und I knows from whence I a-talk. I growd up in Ten-a-see. Ya see?

 

There's a Big Lick, TN

 

The only Toad Lick I Know is Toad Lick Creek in Memphis.

 

Nosireee...never heard of Toad Lick...but there is a Climax, Colorado just up the road from here.

 

I live 5 miles from Peckerwood Point, TN. Don't think it is on the map but it does exist.

 

Did a search, couldn't find it. I grew up in TN, and there are a lot of places that have nicknames, that may be why we can't find it.

 

Just...uh...well,...uh, ...just what would that there school's mascot be and is Peckerwood anywhere near Knobgobblers Butte?

 

Went through Bird in Hand, Intercourse, and Blue Ball, PA just today!

 

the friend I talked to went to his closet and pulled out the T-shirt - he said it had Bubba's Bike shop, Toad Lick Tenn on it??? I will call him and have him log on here...
