Ness Big Sucker Problem
Yesterday when reinstalling my air cleaner I tightened one of the four long bolts that screw into the backing plate and one sheared off in the plate. Pulled it out and the break was rusted, so the bolt had been cracked for a while. Not sure if I can get the broken part out -- may have to order another backing plate from Ness. Anyway, for those out there with this type of a/c, you may want to inspect these bolts next time you remove them, and be careful when tightening them back. I'm no superman, so I figure China steel strikes again.
